New committee take over the reins

1 week ago By Mark Wilkins

There have been major changes at the club over the summer with a number of new faces taking up positions on the club committee.

The changes start at the top with Alan Spence (pictured) taking over as Chairman, Alan who lives in Marston and is a former Director at the Oxfordshire Football Association has hit the ground running. While making sure the club is ticking over nicely at committee level by attending a variety of meetings , he has also been present at training nights and fixtures for both the Junior and Senior sections. Alan said "This is a fantastic club with great facilities and a promising future", he added "we have a defined vision for the future of the club going forward and are working closely with the Parish Council and OFA to put our plans into action".
There is also a new treasurer, welfare officer, charter standard coordinator, managers and a returning vice chair. We will bring you further news articles over the coming weeks to introduce these new faces, in the meantime we carry on making sure all the teams and players enjoy their new season.
The club is now looking forwards to making the whole footballing experience at Boults Lane a much more inviting and enjoyable experience for both it's members and the wider community.
