The club enjoyed a bumper weekend with a combination of fixtures and the Race Night taking place at Boults Lane.
The club enjoyed it's best weekend of the season so far on Saturday, it all started with the First team fixture against Heyford Athletic FC in the Oxfordshire Senior League. Even the weather played it's part as the sun was beaming, this in turn ensured a big crowd on the touchline and Heyford had a lot of of supporters make the trip too, which also added to the weekends experience. The First team went on to win the game 1-0 thanks to Carly Bloomfield's second half goal, the Reserves who had travelled in the opposite direction to play Heyford Athletic Reserves also won 6-2. The Reserve team goals came from Billy Young (2), Owen Harris, Rich Hathaway, Will Harte and Jae Sharkey, another step taken towards winning the league. In the evening the men's team hosted a Race Night where they raised £750, but more importantly it was great to see the players , partners, children, friends and family having a great time in the club house. Then we come on to Sunday when the club played host to Barton Ladies as their pitch was double booked, which gave the club the opportunity to assess it's options for next season. In fact the whole weekend demonstrated exactly what can be achieved and where the club can continue to develop.

Not a bad month
Both the Vets and the Reserves collect silverware in April, with a County Cup and League title respectively.
